Ronald McDonald House Charities® provides lodging, hope, and comfort for families of seriously ill children who travel far from home for medical treatment. McDonald's of MIKI supports three Ronald McDonald House Charities® across the BU territory:
As a founding mission partner of the charity, McDonald's of MIKI remains committed to leveraging the size and scale of our restaurants to promote and raise money to support the growth of the charity. Along with our managers and crew, we take great pride in support RMHC as well as the families and programs they serve.
We've set a goal to raise $1.35 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities in 2023 through the Round Up for RMHC initiative and we're SO close! At the end of October, MIKI McDonald's restaurants have officially hit more than $1 Million raised for RMHC!
These numbers are accurate as of October 31, 2023.
Owner/Operators Michael and Nicole Moreland run restaurants across southern Illinois that raise funds for both the Ohio Valley and Tri-State chapters of RMHC. In this video they share their many reasons for supporting the charity and its mission to keep families close to their sick or injured children while they receive care.
Through the Round-Up for RMHC program, our guests can support families with every visit to one of our 112 locally-owned McDonald's restaurants. By rounding up their purchase to the nearest whole dollar, our guests can help families with ill or injured children stay together with home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, fully-equipped kitchens and laundry facilities near to the medical care they need at leading hospitals.
Even the smallest of donations can make such a big difference to families, spending time together in a ‘home-away-from-home’.
Your Happy Meal purchases also makes a big difference to RMHC. Every time you buy a Happy Meal®, we donate a portion of sales to support RMHC programs and services.
